JLSchneider is a carpenter and an adjunct professor of English at a small community college in upstate New York. His poetry has appeared in Crazy River, The Taos Review, The Rhode Island Review, The New Guard, and Rolling Stone, among others. He was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in fiction in 2013.
