Leah Komar grew up in Syracuse and Central Pennsylvania, attended college in New Orleans and Kyoto, and has since then lived in Toyama and Austin, with plans to move to Tokyo next month. She has a cat named Caspian who does tricks for treats and a fiancé named Henry who does not.
