We have made some changes to our production schedules at Slippery Elm, to bring you more content year-round!

Our print edition, and the Slippery Elm Prizes in Poetry & Prose, will now open for submissions every year in the fall, close on Feb. 1st, and publish in April.  We will award two prizes of $500 each, in Poetry and in Prose.  There’s no fee for regular submissions, but contest entrants get a copy of the winning issue.  See full guidelines here.

Our Multimedia Contest for the Deanna Tulley Prize will open in the summer and close each year on September 30th, and award prizes of $300, $200, and $100 for first, second, and third place winners.  See full guidelines here.
