Amber Wong is an environmental engineer who enjoys life’s ironies, like being an engineer who writes. Currently exploring themes informed by her Chinese American upbringing – power, scarcity, unfamiliarity, and comfort – she aims to clarify what it means to be inscrutable. Honors: Artist-in-Residence at Willapa Bay AiR (2015), Contributor to Breadloaf in Sicily (2014), Winner of The Writer’s Connection essay contest (2011).
