Candace Pearson

Candace Pearson received the Liam Rector First Book Prize for Poetry from Longwood University for Hour of Unfolding. Her poems have appeared in such fine journals as Ploughshares, Crab Orchard Review, Cimarron Review, Spillway, and more, plus anthologies that include Wide Awake: Poets of Los Angeles and Beyond. A multiple Pushcart Prize nominee, she works by flashlight in a 100-year-old cabin in the foothills north of L.A.
