Michèle Saint-Michel

 

Michèle Saint-Michel is an intermedia artist, filmmaker, and author. Her work is most often in the mediums of film and moving image, poetry, fluxus sound, and art books. This year her experimental films have screened in NYC, Paris, and Montreal. She also completed her first poetry manuscript, working under poet Cynthia Cruz at the Unterberg Poetry Center. The book the Multi-temporal Anxiety Tracker is based on, Saint Agatha Mother Redeemer: Erasure Poetry for Survivors, will be available Fall 2021. Additionally, she has turned the work into a graphic score entitled Score for Memories and the Weather in Montenegro that will be performed by Mother Russia Industries Experimental Music Ensemble this October in Kansas City.
