Patrick Reichard is a professor of English at Prairie State College
in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He received his MA at the University
of Chicago, where his creative thesis was runner up for the
Catherine Ham Award. Patrick earned his PhD in English at
University of Illinois at Chicago in the Program for Writers,
where his creative dissertation won the Goodnow Prize for prose.
His work has appeared in The Coachella Review and Contrary Magazine.
He lives on the south side of Chicago with his wife Jeana and two
daughters.
