Phoua Lee is a queer Hmong-American writer born and raised in
California. She is currently an English undergraduate at California
State University, Fresno. She was awarded the 2022 Larry Levis
Poetry Prize, 2022 Mireyda Barraza Martinez Prize for Social
Justice Writing, and the 2022 Soul Vang Poetry Prize. Her writing
has been published in BreakBread and Hmong American Ink & Stories,
among others.
