Shannon Pender is a Massachusetts native who, after receiving her BA in Fiction Writing at the University of Pittsburgh, moved to NYC to work in children’s publishing. Her writing has appeared in JuxtaProse Literary Magazine, In Shades Magazine, Cadaverine Magazine, and Pittsburgh Magazine, among others.
