Elizabeth Crowell was born and raised in NJ and has lived in the Boston area for the last 25 years. A graduate of Smith college and Columbia University, she taught high school and college English for many years. Her work has been published in THE BELLEVUE LITERARY REVIEW, THE SEWANEE REVIEW, and is forthcoming in THE ROANOKE REVIEW and other publications.
