Shannon is a multi-genre writer of stories set against the backdrop of the American West and Southwest. Her fiction spans past, present, and future and often feature morally grey characters doing their best in a complex world. Her short stories have appeared in the Hold Your Fire Anthology, The Copperfield Review, and more. One of her most recent short stories appeared in the Monsters, Movies & Mayhem Anthology, which was edited by Kevin J. Anderson and is a finalist for a Colorado Book Award. She has a B.A. in Literature-Writing from UC-San Diego.
