Edith Clark grew up in Ann Arbor and East Lansing, Michigan, and spent her summers on the edge of Lake Michigan. She holds a B.A. in English from Michigan State University, an M.S. in biostatistics and epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts, and is a writer and consultant in the public health field. “Singing Grass” is her first venture into the world of creative writing. Edith enjoys reading, and lives on the edge of Lake Michigan in a home that was purchased by her great grandmother in 1903.
