Sharon Short

Sharon ShortSharon Short is the author of the literary coming-of-age novel My One Square Inch of Alaska (Penguin Plume) as well as of other fiction and essays. She is also the Executive Director of the Antioch Writers’ Workshop in Yellow Springs, Ohio and the Literary Life columnist for the Dayton Daily News. Sharon was named the 2014 John E. Nance Writer-in-Residence at Thurber House in Columbus, Ohio. Her work has also earned an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award. Sharon lives with her husband in their native state of Ohio.
